I’ve read through your blog and got courage to submit something. I’m in high school, year 10 and I was in my English class. I’m quite developed for my age, big breasts, curvy etc and I grab a lot of unwanted attention, really. In my English class two boys, then another (who I trusted and turned out to be a pig) started making rude jokes to me. When I was in year 9 the first boy called me a bitch and names and I ended up hurting him after he tried to do things to me in CLASS in front of others and he ended with a bleeding arm, I can get pretty violent if it means I defend myself. Now in year 10 in my English class he continues but now the other two boys are getting involved too. The teacher knows and I begged to get moved, I shout at them most of the time and tell them to leave me alone because well, I don’t take shit (sorry for swearing) from people but the teacher wouldn’t listen. He tried to grab my breasts and made really twisted jokes about me and I slapped him because well no one touches me without consent - though it has happened beforehand and you know, I just find it disgusting. I just hope in year 11 I won’t be in their class, which I don’t think so because it’s after your levels in year 10 and long story short, he didn’t do well nor did the other two. Just because I’m foreign and female doesn’t mean someone can assault me. I even got blamed. I just hoped for more support. Thanks for listening, it feels good to let it out! xx

Hey, thanks for submitting. :) I would have hoped you could get more support at school too; I can’t believe your teacher is ignoring this. (And side note, it wasn’t clear to me whether you were saying the teacher grabbed your breasts, or that was the jerk in your class?). Is there someone else you can talk to at school? Maybe another teacher you trust who could intervene on your behalf? Do you live with your parents/would they be able to talk to someone at the school for you? I say good for you for fighting back and hurting this scumbag—there is nothing wrong with defending yourself. Still, the teachers/staff at school should be helping you.

I’m always happy to listen! Just wish I could do more to help.
